PowerSchool Parent Portal

Power School Parent Portal is a valuable tool to help you stay connected to your child's learning, progress and attendance.  Follow the detailed instructions on the  infographic to setup your Parent Portal on a desktop and then as an app on your phone. Please make sure you have your child's Access ID and password before you begin.  If you do not have this information, please contact your child's teacher. 

 

 

New School Announcement

On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe announced a new joint-use public and Catholic school in the Harbour Landing community. The announcement, which took place behind the existing Harbour Landing and Regina Catholic St. Kateri Tekakwitha joint-use school was emceed by area-MLA Muhammad Fiaz and included Premier Scott Moe and Deputy Premier/Education Minister Gordon Wyant, among other members of the Legislative Assembly. Chairperson Katherine Gagne spoke on behalf of the Regina Board of Education, and Vicky Bonnell, Regina Catholic Board of Education Deputy Chair, also spoke.

Update to End of Day Dismissal Procedures

Hello Hawks parents and caregivers! 

On September 16, the following letter will be sent home electronically from your child's classroom teacher.  This letter outlines a slight end of the school day adjustment being made at all Regina Public Schools. 

This change will assist Regina Public Schools to continue to reduce playground congestion at the end of the school day. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school administration at the school.

Return to School Handbook

September 1, 2020 -- Regina Public Schools families can now read most details about returning to school in one document. The Return to School Parent/Caregiver Handbook includes all the information school families may need to know about school in September and beyond.

The handbook includes:

- Safety precaution details and what the schools and learning will be like in the coming school year

- Transportation

- Curriculum, instruction and assessment for Kindergarten to Grade 12

- Support Services information for students with intensive needs

- Program information for the 2020-21 school year
