Edsby Parent Help - Setting Notifications and Seeing Assignments

Hello Hawks' Parents & Caregivers,

We know that the transition to Edsby has been great; however, we also know that we (staff, parents and students) continue to learn more about Edsby's capabilities and functions. We are hearing from some parents that they would like notifications to go to their phones and that they may not know how to use Edbsy to see their child(ren)'s grades and assignments. If this is the case, we have you covered!

Proof of Vaccination or Test Status Required

As of November 29, 2021, proof of vaccination, or recent negative COVID-19 test, will be required for all who enter a Regina Public Schools building. This requirement does not apply to students.

New Portal for a New Year

Over the summer, Regina Public Schools has been adding the finishing touches to a new, comprehensive online student information portal called Edsby. Previously, students, parents and staff used PowerSchool. Access to PowerSchool was terminated at the end of this past school year, and that portal is no longer available.

Edsby is a comprehensive education application that will include more user-friendly features than were previously found in PowerSchool. Specifically, Edsby will allow students, parents and guardians easy, secure access to attendance records, assignments, schedules, course materials, grades, classes, school news and calendars.
